On Saturday, October 2, join curator Catherine Hecht for the third annual JCAST LGBTQ+ Tour–featuring artwork created by local Queer Artists.
This year’s tour is a walking tour dahlings! So don your most fabulous comfortable shoes to sashay the streets of Jersey City… in hot pursuit of Art & Culture!
We will travel to 6 different exhibition spaces and highlight 21 talented out-queer-artists who work in various mediums. Miguel Cardenas, pop artist and cofounder of Jersey City Pride, will discuss his new work in the Walk_Bye group show, “we are everywhere” at the Jersey City Library.
Early birds can meet us at 11:00 am at Mana Contemporary, 888 Newark Ave. From Mana we’ll walk downtown to Alley Cat Gallery, 76 Coles St. We will be at Alley Cat Gallery at 1:00 pm and continue the rest of the walking tour from there. Tour ends at 4:15.
